Built by a software developer and small-business owner who got tired of water treatment advice that was either a sales pitch or a forum argument.

opific publishes sizing calculators, certification tables and review analysis for home water systems, and soon for backup power. Everything is built in the open: the formulas are on the page, the data sources are named, and the business model is disclosed.
